HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU NIFAS TENTANG SENAM KAGEL DENGAN PENYEMBUHAN LUKA PERINEUM DI PUSKESMAS GUNUNG RAMPAH KUTAI BARAT KALIMANTAN TIMUR TAHUN 2024
The National Hospital Discharge Survey (2016) reported that in the United States, maternal
morbidity and childbirth included obstetric complications (3.6%), toxemia gravidarum (5.8%),
obstetric trauma including lacerations of the birth canal and hematoma (5.0%) and perineal
lacerations (1.7%) and other trauma (3.9%). Delivery assistance by health workers with low
risk has minor complications so that it can reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and
perinatal (Manuaba, 2015). This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship
between postpartum mothers' knowledge about Kagel Exercises and Healing Perineal
Wounds in Postpartum Mothers at the Gunung Rampah Health Center UPTD, West Kutai, East
Kalimantan. This type of research uses a quantitative analytical method with a cross-sectional
design. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers with perineal wounds with
a total of 30 postpartum mothers at the Gunung Rampah Health Center UPTD. The sampling
technique used the Total Sampling technique. The sample in this study was 30 respondents.
It can be concluded based on the results of the hypothesis test showing a sig value (-2 tailed)
= 0.001 <0.05 so that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of postpartum
mothers about Kagel Exercises and Healing Perineal Wounds in Postpartum Mothers
